My story
My name is Ashleigh Welsh, a hair expert from Wishaw, Scotland. I am a wife, mum to 3 children and entrepreneur.
With over 17 years of experience and a deep passion for hair, my journey began at Motherwell College, where I developed my skills as a hair stylist. Determined to make my mark, I opened my first salon 14 years ago while expecting my first child—a true testament to my determination. This drive paved the way for my future ventures. In 2012, my growing interest in hair loss solutions led me to the U.K. Wig School, where I received expert training in this specialised field. I became the first professional in Scotland to offer mesh integration, continually refining and adapting systems to meet the unique needs of each individual. As the owner, designer, and creator of the scalp-replicated hair loss system SkalpD, I’m proud to lead the way in providing realistic, custom solutions for those facing hair loss.
